CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's basketball team will return to the HTC Center this week for a Sun Belt Conference matchup with UT Arlington. The contest between the Chanticleers and Mavericks will take place in Conway, S.C., Saturday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m. ET, with the men's home basketball game against Troy slated to follow at 4 p.m. ET.
Coastal will look to rebound from a road loss to Georgia Southern to close out last week. The Chants are 13-8 overall on the season and 3-7 in SBC play, while the Mavericks are 15-6 on the year and 9-3 in conference action.
The Chanticleers are 10-2 at home this season, while UTA is 8-2 on the road this year.
COASTAL vs. UTA HISTORY
UT Arlington holds a 5-3 advantage in the overall series, which began during the 2016-17 season when Coastal Carolina joined the Sun Belt Conference. However, at the HTC Center the teams are evenly split at 2-2. The Chanticleers currently own a two-game winning streak over the Mavericks, as the Chants picked up wins in each of the last two meetings back in the 2019-20 season.

On the defensive end of the floor, Blount is the team's top rebounder having grabbed 185 boards on the season to average 8.8 boards per game, while both
Janeen Camp and
Janae Camp are second and third on the team with 6.3 and 5.6 rebounds per game, respectively. Senior
Janeen Camp has blocked 40 shots over the season, as the Chants are allowing just 58.6 points per game and holding opponents to a 35.9 shooting percentage on the year.

The Mavericks are averaging 68.8 points per game on the year, while shooting 43.0 percent from the floor overall. UTA's offense is led by Starr Jacobs with 20.6 points per game, while Terryn Milton is chipping in with 11.7 points per contest. Katie Ferrell leads the Mavericks with 96 assists, while Milton has aided teammates 87 times.
Defensively, UTA is allowing its opponents to shoot 40.3 percent from the field but surrendering just 65.9 points per game. Jacobs and Ferrell are the top rebounders grabbing 124 and 118 rebounds, respectively, while the duo of Jacobs and Ferrell leads the team with 49 and 33 steals apiece.
