• The Chanticleers have three winning streaks on the line this Tuesday at Charlotte.
• Coastal enters the contest on a three-game winning streak over the 49ers, including a 15-6 win over Charlotte in Conway in 2020. The other two wins date all the way back to 1994.
• CCU is also on a three-game overall winning streak having swept Appalachian State (April 14-16) last week in Boone, N.C.
• The Chants also have a six-game road winning streak on the line, as CCU posted back-to-back three-game Sun Belt Conference series sweeps at Arkansas State (April 1-3) and App State.

RIGHTING THE SHIP
• The bullpen appears to be on the verge of righting the ship when it comes to the late-inning struggles, or at least the Coastal arms did so in the three-game series at App State (April 14-16) last time out.
• Coastal Carolina's bullpen used five arms in the three-game series sweep over the Mountaineers, who all combined to allow just one hit, one walk, one hit batter, and strike out six hitters over 9.0-scoreless innings in the three games.
