CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's soccer team continues its three-game road series on Friday, as the Chanticleers face (RV) UNCG before traveling to face (RV) Campbell on Monday. Both teams are receiving votes (RV) in the United Soccer Coaches Top 15 Poll.

Friday's kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET, while Monday will see the Chants kick off at 6 p.m. ET.

CCU is coming off a 4-2 comeback victory on Sunday, Aug. 28, on the road at William & Mary.

William & Mary struck first, just seven minutes in, as Nathan Messer connected on a pass from Diba Nwegbo and Alexander Levengood. With one minute remaining in the first half, the Tribe's Webb Kosich found his way around a diving Joey Batrouni to put the host up 2-0.

CCU's Marcello Jones sent in the first of the Chants' two goals when we collected a volley following a throw-in from Noah Glorioso in the 52nd minute to make the score 2-1. The Chants were awarded a corner kick that Emile Rzepecki sent into the box that found the head of Alvaro Garcia-Pascual, who leaped above the William & Mary defenders to level the score at 2-2.

Maurice Hauser recorded his second goal in as many games, this one as his first game-winner, as the freshman collected a pass from teammates Danny Cabrera and Noe Santos in the 81st minute to give Coastal a 3-2 lead. On a through ball from Glorioso, Lucio Berron notched Coastal Carolina's final goal of the day with just under two minutes of play remaining to make the score 4-2.

UNCG opened the 2022 season with a 5-1 victory over Asheville before downing UNCW 2-0. Six different Spartans have connected with the back of the net so far this season, with five different UNCG players providing helpers.

J.C. Ngando, Emmanuel Hagan, Marco Milanese, and Niclas Wild were all All-SoCon first-team honorees last season and picked up preseason all-conference honors ahead of the 2022 season.

SCOUTING THE CAMELS (2-0-0)
Three Campbell returners were named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Watch List. Kemy Amiche and Tyler Young were both named to the midfielder to watch list while, Moses Mensah was named to the defenders to watch list for the 2022 season.

The Camels opened the season at the HBU Invitational, where they picked up a pair of wins with a 3-0 victory over Incarnate Word before downing host Houston Baptist, 3-1. All six of Campbell's goals have come from different players.

After finishing the 2021 season at 15-4-2 overall (7-0-1 Big South), Campbell went on to claim the 2021 Big South Tournament Championship and advanced to the 2021 NCCA Tournament against then No. 17 Virginia, a contest they dropped 2-1.
