CONWAY, S.C. – Due to the threat of inclement weather in the Conway/Myrtle Beach area on Friday, the 2022 Chanticleer Challenge scheduled for Friday, Sept. 30, at 4 p.m. has been canceled.
 
The head coaches of the teams participating in the meet were all in agreement to cancel the two races due to the impending heavy rainfall and the chance of unfavorable race conditions at the General Hackler Golf Course in Conway, S.C.
 
The Chanticleers return to action at the ECU Pirate Invitational in Greenville, N.C., on Friday, Oct. 14.
