Wilmington, N.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team continued play at its final tournament of this year's fall season today at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational in Wilmington, N.C.
CCU opened day two with a doubles matchup against Boston College. The Chants took two of three in the opening round, as the duos of Jesus Garcia and Guilherme Toresan and Rivers Cahill and Lucas Wayenburg defeated a pair of Eagles.
Following their opening round win over Boston College, Coastal capped off day two with a singles matchup against Davidson. The Chants won four of six over the Wildcats, all in straight sets. Carlos Berna Ruiz, Ryuya Ata, Wayenburg and Cahill all picked up singles wins heading into the final day of tournament play.
The UNCW Seahawk Invitational will continue tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. ET, as Coastal takes on Davidson in a doubles matchup.
