CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina's
Jimson St. Louis is set to compete for the U.S. Virgin Islands national team in the CONCACAF Nations League beginning this weekend.
St. Louis played at Southeastern Community College for two years before joining the CCU squad in the spring of 2023. He picked up many accolades during his time as a Blackhawk, including MVP and Offensive Player of the Year honors. He was also named an NJCAA DII first-team All-American and earned a spot on the ICCAC All-Region first team.
CONCACAF stands for the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football and is one of FIFA's six continental governing bodies for soccer. CONCACAF created the Nations League in 2017 and consists of 41 teams split into three leagues that compete against each other in hopes of promotion.
The U.S. Virgin Islands soccer team is in League C and will face Turks & Caicos at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 25, at the TCIFA National Academy. The team will then play Sint Maarten at its home stadium, the Bethlehem Soccer Complex, at 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
