CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina volleyball team will travel to Atlanta, Ga., to open Sun Belt Conference play against the Georgia State Panthers on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 22-23. Both contests can be watched on ESPN+ and followed online via live stats at

This will be the 23rd meeting between the Chanticleers and the Panthers with CCU holding a 19-3 series lead.

The Chanticleers are 5-7 on the season and are on a two-game skid, as they dropped matches with Duke and UNC of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Jasmine Rivest leads the Chants with 130 kills, freshman setter
Jalyn Stout has tallied 102 kills, redshirt junior
Lauren Malone has added 89 kills, junior transfer
Cagla Bengi leads the team with 302 assists, and fellow newcomer
Sydney Lewis has 115 digs. Middle blockers
Dilara Unal and
Valentina Varani lead the team with 45 and 41 blocks, respectively.
ABOUT GEORGIA STATE
Georgia State enters the weekend with a 3-8 record and has lost its last seven outings. In their last two matches, the Panthers dropped a pair of match-ups against Furman and Presbyterian last weekend.
GSU's offense is paced by Erin Wyatt and Jahniya Jackson with 78 and 72 kills, respectively, while Laughlin Murray leads the team with 182 assists.
Defensively, Livy Kowalkowski leads Georgia State with 218 digs, while Wyatt has 107 digs. Kayla Broom, Akira Burt, and Izzy Durnell are holding the front line with 34, 29, and 26 blocks, respectively.
