GREENWOOD, Ind. - The Coastal Carolina men's soccer team had four student-athletes named to the 2024 Academic All-District men's soccer team, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced on Tuesday.
Gudjon Stefansson,
Anton Bjarkason,
Daniel Reiter, and
Doug Hainer were selected to the team.
To be eligible for this award, student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and have competed in 90 percent of the institution's games or started in at least 66 percent of the contests.
The four selections will advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot where first, second, and third-team Academic All-America honors will be announced in December. The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions; NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and the NAIA.
