GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team had six student-athletes in
Jessica Wheeler,
Julia Ziegenfuss,
Cami Wiles,
Katie Riccardi,
Madison Micheletti, and
Tamlyn Parkes named to the 2024 Academic All-District women's soccer team, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced on Tuesday.
This marks the third straight year Coastal has had six selections and the second straight year Ziegenfuss has achieved this feat.
To be eligible for this award, student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and have competed in 90 percent of the institution's games or started in at least 66 percent of the contests.
The six selections will advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot where first, second, and third-team Academic All-America honors will be announced in December. The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions; NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and the NAIA.
