CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's soccer team close out the regular season versus the UCF Knights on Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. ET.

Chant Talk

• Coastal owns a 3-9-3, 1-4-3 Sun Belt record.
• CCU has recorded three straight ties versus ranked opponents this season after shutting out No. 8 James Madison, No. 3 Marshall, and No. 7 West Virginia.
• The Chants will look to improve on their 2-7-1 home record this season.
• Defender Pierson Davis leads the team with 1,350 minutes of playing time after competing during the full 90 in all 15 of Coastal's matches this season.
• In order for the Chants to qualify for the 2024 Sun Belt Conference Championship tournament they have to win and ODU must lose or tie versus JMU.

Last Time Out

• Coastal battled to a 0-0 shutout draw with No. 7 West Virginia last Thursday to record its third clean sheet versus a top-10 opponent this season.
• Tristan Himes produced two saves in the final five minutes of the first half to keep the Mountaineers off the board.
• At the final whistle, CCU trailed 18-7 in shots and 13-1 in corner kicks but led 4-2 in shots-on-goal.
• Gudjon Steffansson nearly scored with a backheel attempt in the 56th minute that was cleared off the goal line by a West Virginia defender.  
• Stefansson, Jason Kemble, Doug Hainer, and Francesco Pagano each had a shot on goal in the matchup. 

History Against

• CCU has a 2-3-0 series record versus UCF.
• Coastal will be looking to snap its two-match losing streak versus the Knights.
• The Chants' two wins in the series came in back-to-back years when CCU defeated the Knights 1-0 in September 1994 and 4-1 in September 1995. 
• Last time out, Coastal suffered a 5-0 shutout loss to UCF. 
• CCU is unbeaten at home versus the Knights, owning a 1-0-0 record.

• UCF owns a 6-5-3, 4-4-0 record on the season.

• Clarence Awoudor places second in the Sun Belt with 7 assists and tenth with 13 points. 
• Forward Lucca Dourado picked up Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week honors after recording a hat trick in UCF's 4-0 win against South Carolina. 
• Goalkeeper Juanvi Munoz has allowed seven goals in seven starts on the year which places him third in the Sun Belt for goals allowed average.
