Ojiako Named NABC All-District

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Coastal Carolina University's Ginika Ojiako has been named to the 2023-24 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division I All-District team released by the NABC on Tuesday morning. The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across the NCAA Division I.
Ojiako was named to the NABC District 23 second team.
Ojiako finished the regular season as the Sun Belt Conference's leader in double-doubles (17), total rebounds (312), field goal percentage (63.7), and defensive rebounds per game (7.28) and was tied for the league lead in games with the most double-digit rebounds (20).
He was also second in the conference in offensive rebounds per game (3.48), 10th in blocked shots per game (0.97) and 17th in scoring (12.83).
Nationally, Ojiako was eighth in both rebounds and rebounds per game and was ninth in double-doubles. He was also 10th in field goal percentage, 17th in defensive rebounds per game and 23rd in offensive rebounds per game.
