Chants Close Out Regular Season at Troy

CONWAY, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team (13-7, 7-3 SBC) looks to close out the regular season portion of the schedule with a win on the road against the Troy Trojans (14-6, 8-2 SBC) tomorrow afternoon at the Lunsford Tennis Center in Troy, Ala.Â
Coastal enters the final week of the regular season as winners of seven of their last nine matches, including a four-match winning streak in conference play at home against South Alabama, Southern Miss, ULM and Arkansas State. The Chants will look to get back to .500 on the road with a win over Troy and improve their conference record to 8-3 going into the Sun Belt Conference Tournament next week in Rome, Ga.Â
Troy welcomes Coastal this week with a 14-6 overall record this season and an 8-2 record in Sun Belt Conference play, giving them a share of second place with Marshall with one match remaining on the schedule. The Trojans have won six in a row entering tomorrow's regular season finale dating back to their 4-0 sweep of Southern Miss on Mar. 23. Troy's most recent result was a 7-0 sweep of Arkansas State on senior day on Apr. 14.Â
