Chants To Meet UNCW for Berth in Sun Belt Championship

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina beach volleyball team will look to secure a berth in the 2024 Sun Belt Beach Volleyball Championship match as the Chanticleers battle No. 2-seeded UNCW in an elimination match at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The winner of CCU-UNCW will face Georgia State in the tournament title match on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

  
FAMILIAR FOE
Coastal is meeting UNCW for the fifth time this season. The Chanticleers have won the last three contests against the Seahawks, including a 3-2 win on Thursday. CCU has faced UNCW more than any other program as Saturday marks the 20th meeting all-time between the Chants and Seahawks.
 
SATURDAY STAKES
The Chants are looking to return to the Sun Belt championship match for the second consecutive season. A win would also give Coastal its third postseason win this week, tying the program record set last year.
