Match Summary

Chants to play Princeton Tuesday Morning

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Coastal Carolina University women's golf team finished the first day of the Wolfpack Match Play 0-2 after falling to 23rd ranked Virginia 4-1 in the morning match and falling to Augusta 4-0-1 in the afternoon match. The Lonnie Poole Golf Course played host to the event.

Against nationally-ranked Virginia Luis Gibson picked up the win for the Chanticleers with a 2&1 finish. Two of the other matches were extremely close as Hannah Karg and Varatkarn Kunkaew both lost a 1 up match. Carolina Hortian fell 4&2, while Sara Sarrion fell 7&6.

Karg picked up a tie in the afternoon match against Augusta, while Sarrion fell 1 up and Gibson fell 2&1. Kunkaew fell 4&3, while Hortian lost 7&5.
