ABOUT THE CHANTS
• Coastal Carolina enters the week 27-20 on the year and 11-13 in Sun Belt play, having dropped its last eight games.

ABOUT THE SPARTANS
• UNC Greensboro enters play at 29-16 overall and have won their last nine contests with the last lost coming against Radford on April 19.
• The Spartan pitching staff has allowed 47 home runs and has struck out 331 opposing batters and issued 239 free bases. Batters are hitting .262 against UNCG.
• The Spartan's Jay Miller will start the midweek contest with a 1-3 record with a 5.44 ERA. Miller has started seven of the nine games he has appeared, while allowing eight home runs and a .299 batting average.
• Rob Ready (3-1) and Julien Piessel (2-2) have the most starts on the mound with 12 and 11 games, respectively. Ready has thrown 66.0 innings, allowing 38 runs on 74 hits with 41 strikeouts. Piessel has allowed 36 runs on 59 hits while striking out 48 batters over 54.1 innings.
• UNC Greensboro is hitting .284 and have belted 54 home runs, 18 triples, and 82 doubles for 329 RBIs.
• Caleb Cozart (.350) and GC Jarman (.331) are the only UNCG hitters hitting over .330. Cozart has hit 20 home runs, one triple, and nine doubles for 66 RBIs, while Jarman has slapped six eight doubles and driven in 22 runs.
