CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina head coach Kevin Pederson announced Chelsea Jameson as the program's new Director of Operations on Monday. Jameson previously served as a graduate assistant for the Chanticleer Athletic Foundation and is a former Coastal women's basketball manager.

"We're excited to welcome back a familiar face in Chelsea Jameson as our Director of Operations," said Pederson. "Chelsea brings not only great experience and understand of the job, but she also brings with her a unique set of connections and relationships across our Coastal Carolina campus. Her drive and passion to be excellent in everything she does is going to really benefit our student athletes and coaches."

A native of Richboro, Pa., Jameson earned a bachelor's and master's degree in sport management from Coastal Carolina. Jameson attended CCU from 2019-24 and was a manager for the Chants' from 2020-23. 

Jameson was named to the President's List four times and was honored in May of 2023 as the Recreation and Sport Management Student of the Year. She was a member of the support staff for USA Basketball, assisting with AmeriCup training camp for the U18 and U19 teams, as well as the U16 National Team mini-camp and team trials.
