NEW ORLEANS, La. - Coastal Carolina women's soccer student-athlete Vivienne Carr was named the Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Carr secured two shutouts between the pipes last week, making six saves of 19 shots. The Maple Vally, Wash., native secured a 0-0 draw versus East Carolina and helped the Chants picked up their first win of the season versus UAB, 1-0.
