CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team will send four student-athletes —
Brunelle Kouam,
Aida Mitrache,
Diana Zuba, and
Francisca Laundes — to compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Carolina Regional, hosted by the University of North Carolina.
The tournament will take place Oct. 16–21 in Chapel Hill, with singles qualifying play beginning Thursday morning, followed by the main draw starting Friday. Kouam earned an automatic bid into the singles main draw, while Mitrache, Zuba, and Laundes will compete in the qualifying rounds.
Participants will have the opportunity to advance to next month's NCAA National Championships. The two singles finalists from each of the 26 regional tournaments will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship, while the doubles champion from each of the 13 regions will advance to the NCAA Doubles Championship.
