CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina softball team will host its final home tournament of the season at St. John Stadium from Feb. 28 to March 2. The Chanticleers will welcome UConn, Wisconsin, and Bowling Green for the Chanticleer Showdown.
CCU will face Bowling Green for a second time on March 3 at 4 p.m. The Chanticleers have also added an additional game against UNCG on March 4 at 6 p.m. ET, marking five straight days of action for the Women in Teal.
History Against
UConn
- CCU holds a 3-3 record against UConn and is currently on a three-game winning streak.
- The Huskies have been shut out in the last two meetings with the Chants.
- The most recent matchup was in 2018, when Coastal recorded its largest margin of victory with a 6-0 win.
Wisconsin
- This will be the first meeting between the Badgers and the Chants.
Bowling Green
- CCU has a 1-1 record against Bowling Green.
- In the last matchup in 2024, the Chants run-ruled the Falcons 11-3.
- The teams first met in 2001, when Coastal suffered a 6-2 loss.
