CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina softball head coach Kelley Green has announced the hiring of former Chanticleer standout Kaelin Cash as the program's Director of Softball Operations and Analytics.
Cash remains in Conway after completing her playing career with the Chanticleers during the 2026 season while earning her MBA. She made an immediate impact in the middle of Coastal's lineup, batting .316 with 36 RBIs and 15 home runs, which ranked sixth in the Sun Belt Conference.
"We are fortunate to be able to retain Kaelin in this updated role," said Green. "Her ability to support our day-to-day operations while also helping us use data and analytics more effectively will be a tremendous asset to our student-athletes and staff."
Prior to Coastal, Cash enjoyed a standout collegiate career at Michigan State, where she overcame an injury-shortened junior season to earn All-Big Ten Second Team and NFCA All-Region Second Team honors as a senior.
Cash began her collegiate career at Saint Joseph's, where she quickly established herself as one of the Atlantic 10's top players. During her freshman season, she was selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team and earned Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors twice. She followed that with Atlantic 10 First Team recognition and Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honors as a sophomore.
In her new role, Cash will oversee the program's day-to-day operations while assisting with analytics, player development support, team travel and other administrative responsibilities.
Cash's return to the program adds another familiar face to a Coastal Carolina staff already comprised of three alumni: Kiana Quolas, Amanda Daneker and Kassidy Smith.
