MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — The Coastal Carolina track and field teams delivered a dominant showing at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational, with the women capturing the team title in runaway fashion and the men securing a strong third-place finish behind several standout individual performances.
Team Results
The Chanticleer women ran away with the meet, scoring 171 points—71 points ahead of second-place Mount St. Mary's. The men placed third with 71.5 points, finishing behind Mount Olive and Mount St. Mary's.
Event Winners — Men

Josh Roberts was the star on the men's side, winning the decathlon with 6,159 points. He also claimed first in four individual decathlon events:
• 100m – 10.82
• Shot Put – 13.10m
• 400m – 52.72
• 110m Hurdles – 15.67

The men's 4x400m relay squad raced to victory in 3:12.66, the fastest time of the meet.

Omari Taylor added another gold with a win in the 400m hurdles, clocking 53.60.

In field events, Elliot Grayson cleared 2.00m to win the high jump A flight.
Event Winners — Women
Coastal's women dominated across the board with several individual titles:

Zionna Perez-Tucker sprinted to the top of the podium in the 100m, winning in 11.62 seconds.

Amanda Kinloch continued her strong season in the 100m hurdles, claiming gold in 13.50.

Addison Laughlin led the distance crew with a first-place finish in the 3000m, posting a 10:07.95.

Zayna Fray-Samuel took home the hammer throw title with a top mark of 56.38m.
