CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's soccer team is set to host Wofford for its second match of the season after its last fixture against Longwood was canceled due to inclement weather. The Chanticleers and Terriers will square off on Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. ET.
History Against
- CCU holds a perfect 4-0-0 record against the Terriers.
- The first meeting came in October 1984, a 2-1 Chanticleer win.
- Coastal has outscored Wofford 12-4 across the four all-time matchups.
- The most recent meeting was in October 2011, when the Chants earned a 2-1 victory.
Scouting the Opponent
- Wofford enters at 0-2-0 on the season.
- The Terriers have been shut out in both contests, falling 6-0 to No. 14 NC State in its opener and 1-0 to Georgia Southern on Aug. 28.
- Ryan Osborne takes over in his first year as head coach. He previously spent two years as an assistant at Wisconsin and three seasons at the helm of Mercyhurst, where he compiled a 32-5-3 record.
