NEW ORLEANS, La. – Coastal Carolina junior Adam Groves has been named the Sun Belt Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.

Groves won the men's 6k event at the Elon Invitational last Friday with a time of 18:19.8, the second-fastest 6k time in school history. It was Groves' second career cross country victory after winning the men's 8k at the Chanticleer Challenge last season. 

The Chants are back in action on Friday, September 19 at the Chanticleer Challenge in Conway.
