CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis defeated the Georgia Southern Eagles women's tennis, 4-2, on Saturday morning at the Stevens Tennis Complex.

• With the win, Coastal Carolina improved to 7-2 on the season.
• The Chants secured the doubles point, winning on courts one and two.
• Georgia Southern earned singles wins on courts one and five but the Chants battled back with the help of wins from Brunelle Kouam and Francisca Laundes on courts two and three.
• Aida Mitrache clinched the match with a 6-4, 2-6, 6-0 win on court four.
• The Chants will return to action on March 15 to take on Wofford at 9:30 a.m. ET.
