CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's lacrosse team will close the regular season with a pair of home games, hosting Atlantic Sun (ASUN) rivals Liberty and Kennesaw State.
The Chanticleers will welcome the reigning conference champion Flames to Brooks Stadium on Thursday, April 16, at noon before hosting the Owls six days later to wrap up the regular season.
The top six teams in the ASUN standings qualify for the conference postseason tournament in Jacksonville, Fla. Coastal Carolina enters Thursday's matchup with Liberty tied with Kennesaw State for seventh place at 2-4 in conference play. The Flames are 3-2 in league action and sit alone in third place.
The Chanticleers (9-6) are unbeaten at home this season, posting a 6-0 record that includes conference wins over Austin Peay and Queens. Liberty is 5-9 overall with a 4-1 mark on the road. Kennesaw State (7-8) hosts Stetson on Thursday before closing the regular season at Coastal Carolina.
The Chants will look to snap a two-game losing streak against Liberty and earn their first home win over the Flames since 2019. Liberty has won seven of the last eight meetings in the series.

Alexandra Horns leads the ASUN with 29 total assists and ranks second in assists per game (1.93). She is second on the team in goals with 29, two behind team leader
Sophie Kingsborough. Horns' 58 points are also the second-most in the conference.
Coastal ranks fourth in the league in scoring offense at 11.40 goals per game and second in scoring defense, allowing just 8.80 goals per game. Graduate goalkeeper
Charlotte Sadler leads the conference with a .473 save percentage.
