CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina head baseball coach Chris Lemonis has announced the promotion of Jordan Bowman to Director of Baseball and Equipment Operations.
Bowman enters his third season with the Chanticleer baseball program after joining Coastal Carolina in August 2024. Since arriving in Conway, he has played an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the program, overseeing field logistics, equipment management and practice operations.
"Jordan has been an invaluable part of our program since arriving at Coastal Carolina, and we're excited to elevate him into this role," Lemonis said. "He approaches every day with a team-first mindset and takes tremendous pride in the work he does behind the scenes. Jordan's attention to detail and commitment to our student-athletes make him a tremendous asset to Coastal Carolina Baseball."
In his role, Bowman has coordinated practice setup, managed batting cage operations, assisted with field maintenance, overseen equipment distribution and inventory, and supervised the program's student manager staff. He has also provided on-field support during team workouts, including throwing batting practice and hitting fungos.
"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue serving Coastal Carolina Baseball in this new role," Bowman said. "This program means a great deal to me, and I'm thankful for the trust Coach Lemonis and our staff have placed in me. I look forward to continuing to support our student-athletes and doing everything I can to contribute to the success of the program."
Prior to arriving at Coastal Carolina, Bowman gained valuable experience as a student manager with the Charlotte baseball program, where he assisted with team travel coordination, technology operations and player services.
A native of North Carolina, Bowman played high school baseball at West Caldwell High School before beginning his career in collegiate baseball operations.
