CONWAY, S.C. — The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team will return home to face Central Michigan on Aug. 23 at noon, at the CCU Soccer Complex.

- The Chants will look to rally from a 3-2 loss to the Florida Gators on Thursday evening.
- Coastal battled back from a 2-0 deficit when freshmen Ava Rodriguez and Olivia Lawrence each netted their first collegiate goals to tie the match at the end of the first half.
- Rodriguez and Lawrence each also logged an assist in the match, along with fellow freshman Luisa Thomas, who notched her first collegiate point.
- Goalkeeper Aris Lamanna matched her career high with 10 saves.
- The Chants have displayed their depth in the lineup, with five different players netting a goal so far.
- The last time Coastal entered a season scoring at least five goals in its opening two matches was in 2020, when the Chanticleers scored four against Georgia State and three against South Alabama.

- Central Michigan had three different goal scorers in its win over the Buccaneers, with seniors Jordan Bailey and Rachel Jackson and sophomore Naomi Phillips finding the back of the net. Phillips also notched an assist in the outing.
- Jadia Kershaw has played the entirety of the opening two matches between the pipes, logging seven saves and a .700 save percentage.
- Sunday's match will be the first-ever meeting between Coastal and Central Michigan.
