
Women’s Soccer Returns Home to Face Central Michigan

CONWAY, S.C. — The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team will return home to face Central Michigan on Aug. 23 at noon, at the CCU Soccer Complex.

- Coastal battled back from a 2-0 deficit when freshmen Ava Rodriguez and Olivia Lawrence each netted their first collegiate goals to tie the match at the end of the first half.
- Rodriguez and Lawrence each also logged an assist in the match, along with fellow freshman Luisa Thomas, who notched her first collegiate point.
- Goalkeeper Aris Lamanna matched her career high with 10 saves.

- Jadia Kershaw has played the entirety of the opening two matches between the pipes, logging seven saves and a .700 save percentage.
- Sunday's match will be the first-ever meeting between Coastal and Central Michigan.
