Coastal Carolina Represented at Start of NFL Training Camps

CONWAY, S.C. – Two former Coastal Carolina football standouts are set to open NFL training camps as preparations begin for the 2026 NFL season. As of Thursday, July 30, tight end Isaiah Likely (New York Giants) and wide receiver Malick Meiga (Carolina Panthers) are listed on official NFL training camp rosters.
Isaiah Likely, TE – New York Giants
Likely enters his fifth NFL season after joining the Giants during the offseason. A fourth-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, he concluded his Coastal Carolina career as one of the most accomplished tight ends in program history, totaling 133 receptions for 2,050 yards and 27 touchdowns while earning All-America recognition.
The Giants are holding training camp at Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford, N.J.
Preseason Schedule
Meiga begins his first NFL training camp after signing with the Panthers following the 2026 NFL Draft. The Montreal, Quebec, Canada, native transferred to Coastal Carolina for his final collegiate season and quickly became one of the Chanticleers' top offensive weapons, finishing with 58 receptions for 865 yards and seven touchdowns in 2025.
