CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina Athletics has announced a two-year partnership with Sparks Toyota that will feature the dealership's logo prominently displayed on the teal turf at Brooks Stadium throughout the 2026 and 2027 football seasons.
The field sponsorship is the largest secured since Playfly Sports became the exclusive representative of Coastal Carolina Athletics' corporate partnerships.
"Sparks Toyota has been a tremendous supporter of Coastal Carolina University and Chanticleer Athletics for many years," said Coastal Carolina Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics and University Recreation Chance Miller. "This two-year partnership further strengthens that relationship while prominently showcasing a respected Grand Strand business with deep ties to our University and community. We are grateful to Patrick, Susan and the entire Sparks Toyota family for their continued belief in Coastal Carolina and investment in its future."
In addition to its on-field presence, Sparks Toyota will serve as the presenting partner of the Sparks Toyota RAV 4th Quarter promotion throughout the season. The promotion will provide one fan with an opportunity to win a 2026 Toyota RAV4 during the fourth quarter.

A family-owned business serving the Grand Strand since 1982, Sparks Toyota is owned by Coastal Carolina alumnus Patrick Sparks. The Myrtle Beach native graduated from Coastal Carolina in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in marketing and currently serves as vice chair of the University's Board of Trustees.
"Sparks Toyota is a leading Toyota dealer in the Carolinas," said Robert Stockhausen, general manager of Coastal Carolina Sports Properties. "Patrick Sparks is a Coastal Carolina alumnus and has been a thought leader and integral to the mission of both Coastal Carolina Athletics and the University. There is no better sponsor to showcase on our Surf Turf than one of our own."
The announcement further strengthens the longstanding relationship between Sparks Toyota and Coastal Carolina University. Earlier this year, Coastal Carolina announced a $1 million gift from Patrick and Susan Sparks in support of Chanticleer Athletics. In recognition of their generosity, the former West Zone within Coastal Carolina's athletics facilities was named the Sparks Family Zone.
The Sparks Toyota logo will make its on-field debut when Coastal Carolina hosts Fordham in its 2026 home opener on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Brooks Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
