ESPN’s SportsCenter On Campus Returning to Coastal Carolina

SportsCenter to air live at 5 p.m. from Teal Town with Matt Barrie and Chase Daniel
CONWAY, S.C. – ESPN's SportsCenter On Campus will return to Coastal Carolina University on Thursday, Sept. 24, ahead of the Chanticleers' matchup against Liberty.
Hosted by anchor Matt Barrie, SportsCenter On Campus brings ESPN's flagship program to college campuses on Thursdays throughout the college football season, capturing the atmosphere, traditions and storylines surrounding that week's matchup.
Barrie and former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel will be live from Teal Town for the 5 p.m. edition of SportsCenter. Teal Town is located southeast of Brooks Stadium near the Coastal Carolina Indoor Practice Facility. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
"We saw two years ago what Teal Nation can bring when SportsCenter came to Conway, and we want to take it to another level this time," said Coastal Carolina Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics and University Recreation Chance Miller. "Show up early, be loud for Chant Walk and carry that energy into Brooks Stadium. With the game on ESPN, we have another chance to show the country why Coastal Carolina is such a special place."
Thursday's game will serve as Coastal Carolina's annual Teal Out, with fans encouraged to wear teal and gather behind the SportsCenter On Campus set during the show.
This will mark the second time in three seasons that SportsCenter has broadcast from Coastal Carolina. Barrie hosted the show from Blanton Park before the Chanticleers faced Appalachian State on Nov. 7, 2024.
The University also welcomed ESPN's award-winning pregame show College GameDay on Dec. 5, 2020, before Coastal's 22-17 victory over No. 8 BYU.
