Prior to Coastal Carolina: Earned Class AAAAA All-State First Team selection from the Associated Press, Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Georgia Sportswriters Association ... Picked for the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association (GACA) North-South All-Star Game, while also being honored on the All-Middle Georgia, All-Region and All-County squads ... Had 17 catches for 329 yards and three touchdowns while grading out at 87 percent blocking his senior season ... Was also All-County his junior season ... Posted 39 career receptions for 492 yards and four touchdowns ... Also played baseball for the Bears, earning two letters and being named the team[apos]s outstanding defensive player his senior year ... Also lettered in golf as a freshman ... Was an honor graduate.

Personal: Son of George and Tina Collins... Father George played college football at Georgia, earning All-American honors in 1977, following that with playing for the NFL[apos]s St. Louis Cardinals and USFL[apos]s Jacksonville Bulls.
