Prior to Coastal Carolina: Graduated in 2007 from Coffee, earning four letters in football in his career ... Earned First Team Class AAAAA All-State accolades from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Associated Press his senior season, as well as being honored on the First Team All-Region squad and MVP of the defense for the Trojans ... Recorded 33 tackles for loss and 14 sacks his final season, leading his team to a 9-3 record and No. 6 ranking in the state ... Selected to the Georgia Pre-season All-State Academic Team his senior year ... Was named Second Team All-Region his junior season and honorable mention as a sophomore ... Also played catcher and first base, earning letters his first two years after leading the team in hitting ... Also ranked third in the state in weightlifting twice in his career ...
