2008 (RFr.): Played in all 12 contests his redshirt freshman year, getting four starts ... Had 10 total tackles on the year, three of them solo ... Had a pair of tackles each against Towson and at VMI ... Recorded tackles in eight contests overall.
2007 (Fr.): Did not see any action, earning the redshirt year.
Prior to Coastal Carolina: Was a three-year letterwinner for the Bears... As a senior, earned Second Team All-Region 1-5A and First Team All-Houston County and All-Middle Georgia after recording 79 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, four sacks, three pass breakups, one fumble recovery and two forced fumbles... Had 55 tackles his junior season... Lettered as an offensive guard his sophomore year... Also ran track, qualifying for the state semifinals in the 110-meter hurdles his junior year, and played basketball.
