• Career-high 10 tackles, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery against Army (Nov. 18)
• Made three tackles, including two solo stops, against Texas State (Nov. 11)
• Tallied three tackles against Duquesne (Sept. 16)

2022 (Junior)

• Played in six games before suffering a season-ending upper-body injury
• Started in five games at defensive end to start the year
• Finished the season with eight tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss, and 1.0 sack
• Also had two quarterback hurries
• Recorded three total tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss, 1.0 sack, and a quarterback hurry in the home win over Buffalo (Sept. 17)
• Had two tackles in wins over Gardner-Webb (Sept. 10) and Georgia State (Sept. 22)
• Added one tackle and one quarterback hurry in the home win over Georgia Southern (Oct. 1)
• Missed the 2023 spring season while recovering from surgery

2021 (Sophomore)

• Played in 10 games on the season along the defensive line
• Made two starts - at Buffalo (Sept. 18) and versus UMass (Sept. 25)
• Finished the season with 14 tackles, 1.0 tackle-for-loss, and 0.5 sacks
• Also had two quarterback hurries
• Picked up a season-high five tackles and a quarterback hurry in the road win at Buffalo
• Also had four tackles and a quarterback hurry in the season-opening win versus The Citadel (Sept. 2)
• Had two tackles, 1.0 tackle-for-loss, and 0.5 sacks in the home win over Texas State (Nov. 20)
• Credited with two tackles in the 2021 Tailgreeter Cure Bowl win over Northern Illinois (Dec. 17)
• Participated in 2021 spring practice
• Earned a spot on the Dean's List (3.5 GPA or higher) for the 2022 spring term

High School

• Rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and ESPN
• Recorded 21 tackles-for-loss and 12 sacks as a senior, helping lead Fort Dorchester to a 12-1 record
• Lettered at Fort Dorchester for head coach Steve Laprad
• Named the Defensive MVP of the 2019 South Carolina North-South All-Star Game after recording a game-high eight tackles, including 3.5 sacks, and blocking a punt to help lead the South team to a 35-13 win
• Mother, Katrina McClain Johnson, is one of the most decorated women’s basketball players of all time – was National Player of the Year at Georgia in 1987 and still holds school records for single-season points (796) and points per game (24.9), was a member of three U.S. Olympic teams and won two gold medals in Seoul (1988) and Atlanta (1996) and was inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006 and the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012
• Father, Kacy, played professional basketball in France
• Grandfather, Edward McClain, played for the NFL’s Baltimore Colts
