2004 (Redshirt Sophomore)

• Played in 10 games, making three starts
• Recorded 25 tackles, eight of which were solo
• Totaled 3.0 tackles-for-loss, including 2.0 sacks
• Also had two quarterback hurries and forced a fumble
• Had his best game of the season with eight tackles and 1.5 sacks at VMI (Oct. 16)
• Also had six tackles, 0.5 sack, and forced a fumble at Newberry (Sept. 18)
• Tallied five stops versus Jacksonville (Nov. 13)

2003 (Redshirt Freshman)

• Started in seven of his 11 games in the Chanticleers' inaugural season
• Recorded 30 total tackles, including 10 solo stops
• Added 1.5 sacks and a fumble recovery
• Picked up a career-high 12 tackles at Liberty (Nov. 15), which was tied for the third-best single-game record on the season
• Had a sack at Jacksonville (Sept. 20) and a 0.5 sack at Davidson (Nov. 8)
• Had an 11-yard lateral return on a fumble against Charleston Southern (Nov. 22)
• A member of Coastal's 2002 recruiting class

High School

• A four-year letterwinner in football at Central High School
• Earned all-state honors his final two seasons on the gridiron
• Was also named both all-area and all-region both his junior and senior seasons
• Served as the defensive captain for the 2002 North-South All-Star Game
• Also lettered for three years in both basketball and baseball
• Was a member of the National Honor Society and Academic Honor Roll
