Luke Ibbetson joins the Coastal coaching ranks after wrapping-up his collegiate career with the Chants last season. Ibbetson transferred to CCU after three successful seasons at Lander University.

Ibbetson led the Chants in goals (nine) and points (20), while recording four game-winners. For his efforts, he was named to the Big South All-Conference Second Team.

Ibbetson played professionally with the Wilmington Hammerheads (USLSD) in 2007 and also played for the Great Britain University[apos]s national team pool.

While at Lander, the England native racked up 59 goals and 15 assists for 133 points in three seasons. He was a NSCAA Second Team Division II All-American selection in 2004 and 2005. He was also the 2005 Peach Belt Player of the Year.
