2023 (Freshman)
Outdoor Season

• Competed in both the shot put and the discus throw events at three meets during the outdoor season
• Made his collegiate debut at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge, turning in a season-best mark of 12.53 meters in the shot put to finish 13th overall
• Also placed 20th overall in the discus throw with a toss of 34.05 meters at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate
• Recorded a personal-best throw of 38.33 meters in the discus throw at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational
• Posted a throw of 12.39 meters in the shot put event at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational
• Placed 21st overall in the shot put with a distance of 12.42 meters at the Weems Baskin Relays
• Registered a mark of 36.77 meters in the discus throw at the Weems Baskin Relays in Columbia, S.C.

High School

• Was a multi-sport athlete at McEachern High School
• Lettered in both track & field and football
• Was a state qualifier his senior season, finishing first in the discus throw at the sectionals meet
• Was a two-time regional champion in track & field as a member of the 2021 and 2022 championship teams
• Was a three-time regional champion in football as a member of the 2019, 2020, and 2021 championship teams
• Was an FBU Freshman Under Armour All-American in 2019
• A 2021 7A All-Region second-team selection in football
• A member of the National Beta Club
• Was awarded the "Citizen of the Year" Award
• Has two siblings, Jarrett and Chloe
• Mother, Caleeh, was on the track & field team at Mississippi State from 1996-97
• Aunt, Ilisha Jarrett, played basketball at Mississippi State from 1996-99 and overseas professionally in Russia, Germany, Croatia, Korea, Hungary, and Portugal
• Cousin, Ed Ellis, played in the NFL from 1996-2003 with the New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers, and Washington Redskins
• Cousin, Cam Carter, played football at Murray State from 2016-19
• Cousin, Nick Jarrett, played football at Mississippi State from 2019-21
