CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University men’s soccer team held a scrimmage against the University of South Carolina on Monday Aug. 21. The scrimmage was delayed due to thunderstorms in the Conway area which caused the scrimmage to start over an hour late and the periods to be shortened.

 

“We are very pleased with the effort tonight, head coach Shaun Docking said. We managed to get a lot of guys some playing time, and try players at different spots on the field. We are beginning to get a better idea of our style of play and where people are going to fit in heading into the games this weekend.”

 

The Chanticleers open up their regular season on Friday Aug. 25 in Ann Arbor, Mich. where they will play Oakland at 5 p.m. and again on Sunday Aug. 27 when they will play Michigan at 2:30 p.m.
