Softball Set to Face Eagles on ESPN3

CONWAY - The Coastal Carolina softball team will take on Winthrop Saturday at 1 p.m., with the game airing live on ESPN3 from Terry Field in Rock Hill.
Matt Hogue (play-by-play) and Nate Ross (analyst) will be on the call for the game, the opener of Saturday doubleheader and the first of a three-game series between the Big South Conference rivals.
Coastal (23-17, 10-4) comes into the series in second place in the conference, just a half-game behind Campbell. Winthrop is 20-19 overall and stands fourth in the conference with an 8-5 mark.
The Chanticleers have won the last five meetings with the Eagles and are 7-3 over the last three seasons.
