Women's Lacrosse Earns IWLCA Academic Squad Honors

CONWAY - Coastal Carolina lacrosse was one of 93 Division I teams to be recognized as an Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).
In order to qualify for this prestigious honor, teams must have posted a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the 2015-16 school year. In all, 276 schools across Divisions I, II and III earned the honor.
The Chanticleers have now earned IWLCA Academic Squad distinction in three of its four years as a program (2013, 2014 and 2016) and has been eligible for the award in each of its four seasons.
Coastal Carolina had 26 of its 32 lacrosse student-athletes earn at least 3.0 GPA for the 2015-16 academic year with four Chanticleers earning President’s List (4.0 GPA) and 17 earning Dean’s List for the spring semester.
