CONWAY - Four streaks continued on Tuesday afternoon at St. John Stadium as the Coastal Carolina softball team improved to 21-4 with their seventh consecutive win and second in two days in the 7-0 win over the Bryant Bulldogs. Sophomore
Kaitlin Beasley-Polko ran her scoreless innings against to 21 straight, sophomore
Courtney Dean improves her hitting streak to eight games and junior
Kassidy Smith earns her 22nd straight game on base.
CCU got the scoring started in the bottom of the second after an
Alexis Alvino single and then freshman
Abbey Montoya blasted her third homer in three days off  of Bulldog starter Gabrielle Ermish.
After picking a run in the third, Coastal picked up three more in the fourth as freshman Adrienne Vistintine hit her fourth home run of the season with a line drive that just cleared the fence in right field. Â Smith extended her on base streak in the next at-bat after getting plunked by a pitch.Â
Courtney Dean brought in Smith to score as she extended her hit streak with her ninth home run of the season.
That's all that Beasley-Polko would need as the right hander finished her day with five innings pitched, allowing just one hit, and six strike outs.
Junior
Ally Marcano came in for the final two innings as she allowed just one hit and go one strike out.
Bryant's Marianna Politis picked up the only two hits on the day for her team as she had two singles in three at-bats.
Coastal returns to the field this weekend as they travel to Statesboro when they take on Georgia Southern in their second weekend of conference action.
