Alexander Claims Third ASUN Weekly Award

Atlanta, Ga. – Coastal Carolina's Haley Alexander has been tabbed ASUN Player of the Week for her performances against Mercer, April 12, and Kennesaw State, April 14, the conference announced Tuesday, April 16. This is the third time the Bel Air, Md. native has claimed the weekly award in her career.

The senior attacker tallied 11 goals, two assists and won 11 draws for the week. Against Mercer, Alexander picked up her 200th career point in assisting on the Chanticleers first goal of the day before firing off six goals in the 17-5 double-digit win. In the 20-7 win against Kennesaw State on Senior Day, Alexander would tally five goals and one assist while winning five draws.

Coastal Carolina returns to action Thursday evening, as it will travel to Mount Pleasant, Mich. to take on former ASUN member Central Michigan with the opening draw scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
