Barrett Selected to IWLCA Senior All-Star Game

Coastal Carolina goalkeeper is first CCU participant in IWLCA all-star contest
CONWAY – Coastal Carolina women's lacrosse senior goalkeeper Harley Barrett has been selected to participate in the 2019 IWLCA Senior All-Star game, it was announced by the IWLCA Friday, May 24.
The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at the US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Saturday, June 1, at 11:30 am, 1 pm, and 2:30 pm ET. The Division I game will follow the Division III game with the Division II teams to cap off the three-game event. Admission for all three games is free of charge.
The Collegeville, Pa. native was one of 44 players selected from the NCAA Division I level. Barrett earned ASUN First Team All-Conference honors for two consecutive years along while being named the ASUN Defensive Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons.
For the 2019 season, Barrett finished atop of the ASUN conference with a 50.0 saves percentage and finished third with a 9.65 goals against average and 141 goals against while making 141 saves on the year. The senior goalkeeper hit the 400 career saves plateau with the first save of the day against Kent State on March 26 and missed the 500 saves milestone by a mere 13 saves.
The games will also be web-streamed live on IWLCA-tv.com.
