Hackenberg Earns a Trio of Weekly Honors

NEW ORLEANS – Coastal Carolina University's Ethan Hackenberg has been named the Sun Belt Conference co-Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the Sun Belt Conference Wednesday afternoon.

For his efforts, Hackenberg has also been named to the College Soccer News and TopDrawerSoccer.com National Teams of the Week.

Hackenberg scored the winning goal in overtime in the Chants' 2-1 win over Georgia Southern to keep CCU at the top of the Sun Belt rankings.

It was the freshman's second goal of the season and also his second match-winner as CCU wrapped up at least a tie for the Sun Belt Conference regular-season title.

Hackenberg and the rest of the Chants will put their undefeated record on the line Sunday, Nov. 1, when they play at Georgia State in Atlanta at 2 p.m. ET.
