Coastal Carolina women’s lacrosse team captain tallied three goals in season opener
ATLANTA, Ga. – Senior attacker Lyla Robinson of the Coastal Carolina women's lacrosse team was tabbed the ASUN Player of the Week for her performance in the season-opening win at Old Dominion, Saturday, Feb. 9. This is the first conference weekly award for the Reisterstown, Md. native.
Robinson tallied four points on three goals and one assist as the Chants won their second consecutive season opener against the Monarchs. Two of Robinson's goals came in the first half, where CCU took an 8-3 advantage into the break.
The Chanticleers return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 12, as they travel to Buies Creek, N.C. to take on former Big South foe Campbell with the opening draw scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.
