BOONE, N.C. – The Coastal Carolina University men's basketball team will look to extend its season when they play at Appalachian State Monday, March 9 at 7 p.m. The game will take place at the Holmes Convocation Center on the campus of App State.
 
It will be the third time the two teams have met this season with each team winning on the other's home court. The Mountaineers (17-14) defeated CCU in Conway back on Jan. 25, while the Chants returned the favor with an 84-77 win over App just 10 days ago in Boone.
 
CCU (16-16) is the 10^th seed in the Sun Belt Conference Championship while Appalachian State is the sixth seed. CCU enters the game coming off a road win in the tournament's opening round, a 63-62 last second win at Texas Arlington. The Mountaineers ended the regular season with a road win at Louisiana Monroe.
