Coastal Carolina women’s lacrosse wins sixth conference weekly award
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Redshirt sophomore Lauren Cremen of the Coastal Carolina women's lacrosse team was named the Southern Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Behind seven goals from Cremen, the Chanticleers went 1-1 last week falling on the road at High Point on March 17 before rebounding on the road at Delaware on March 21.
The Manchester, Md. native tallied the hat trick in both contests including hitting her third of team high four goals and the game-winning goal against the Blue Hens.
The weekly conference award is the first for Cremen but marks the sixth time this season that Coastal (four offensive and two defensive).
Coastal Carolina returns to action on Wednesday, March 24 as the Chants will host former conference foe Campbell at Brooks Stadium in Conway. The opening draw is scheduled for noon ET.
