CONWAY, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina's men's tennis team will travel to Elon, N.C. for a non-conference match against Elon on Tuesday, March 30 with a first serve scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET.
The Chanticleers enter the contest with 4-3 overall and 1-1 Sun Belt Conference record. The Chants fell 6-1 to SBC member Georgia State in a neutral site match-up on March 23.
The Phoenix enter the contest with a 10-3 overall record after suffering a set-back to VCU in their last outing on March 27. Elon enters the contest riding a two-game winning streak against Coastal.
The Chants are led by the doubles tandems of
Bastien Huon and
Daiki Tanabe along with
Pyry Hyrkkonen and
Diego Giraldo as both teams are on three-match winning streaks.
In singles action, Huon leads the Chants with a 6-1 overall record at the No. 1 spot and is ranked #100 nationally by ITA heading into action this week, while
Gonzalo Achondo and Tanabe are both 3-3 in singles action.
