CONWAY, S.C.  – The Coastal Carolina beach volleyball team will head to the Blazer Beach Bash hosted by the UAB Blazers this weekend as the Chanticleers will take on Central Arkansas, UAB, ULM, and Mercer.
 
The Chanticleers enter the weekend receiving votes for the seventh consecutive week in the latest AVCA Collegiate Beach Volleyball Coaches Poll.

Coastal is 18-6 overall this season having played a pair of nationally-ranked teams at the Florida State Unconquered Invitational last weekend. The Sandy Chants will look to get back on track after dropping two matches last weekend to then-No. 15 FIU and No. 13 FAU.
 
The Central Arkansas Bears enter this weekend's action with a 15-12 record having gone to the LSU Battle on the Bayou last weekend.
 
The Blazers are 9-12 this season having defeated ULM, Spring Hill, and Southern Miss last time out.

The ULM Warhawks head into the tournament with a 13-17 record having gone to the LSU Battle on the Bayou last weekend where they defeated Central Arkansas and Spring Hill.

Mercer is 9-12 overall on the year and is coming off a 3-2 win over Eckerd on April 10 at the Eckerd Invitational.
