Brouse Receives All-Sun Belt Honor

Senior finished second in the conference in scoring

NEW ORLEANS - Coastal Carolina University women's soccer forward Megan Brouse, has been named second-team All-Sun Belt Conference, it was announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
 
The Phoenix, Ariz., found her name at the top of all the scoring statistics in the Sun Belt Conference all season long, finishing the year ranked second in scoring with 22 points.
 
Brouse finished the regular season ranked second in shots (59), shots per game (3.47), and points per game (1.29). She was tied for second in total goals (9) and goals per game (0.53), and was tied for eighth in both assists (4) and assists average per game (0.24).
 
Along the course of the season, Brouse etched her name among the top players to play soccer at CCU. Her 22 points this season were tied for the 10th-most in program history and her 122 shot attempts ranks ninth. She finished the season with 21 career goals, which ranks sixth in program history, while her 51 total points are seventh all-time.
